There will also be sessions where local hospitals explain the change processes they have undergone or are currently undergoing to improve quality, standards and customer service and how this has affected their bottom-line.


The 2nd annual conference of the Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria will host its 2010 conference on July 6th 2010 at the Muson Center's Agip. the theme of the conference is "Improving Quality Standards in the Nigerian Healthcare System".
The objectives of the conference are:
1. To showcase ongoing quality improvement efforts in the Nigeria's Healthcare System
2. To engage all stake holders on how to institutionalize Quality in healthcare facilities
3. Advocacy and membership drive for the Society for Quailty in healthcare in Nigeria
The special guest at the conference who will also chair the scientific session will include Dr. M. Lecky, Director of Planning at the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja and Dr. Sanmi Kuku, the Chairman of the University College Hospital Ibadan.The speakers include several experts in the field of Healthcare, including Mr. Christopher Ente from Imperial College London, Professor Folashade Ogunshola from the College of Medicine University of Lagos
